SJRA Radiologists and Imaging Centers are in-network for Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey.
When members use Horizon network doctors and facilities, they have lower out of pockets expenses. If a Horizon member goes out of network, costs are much higher when receiving care.

The SJRA Process for Handling Insurance Payments

Depending on your Horizon BCBS insurance policy, you may be responsible for insurance deductibles, coinsurance, or copayments. Check with your agent or the insurance company to determine any additional expenses or policy requirements.
As a courtesy to our patients, we bill Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield directly. You are responsible for obtaining authorization or precertification prior to scheduling radiology diagnostic services. We require payment at time of service, and any payment we collect represents a cost estimate. Final balances due are determined by your insurer after they have processed the claim.
